Hi there!
I’m a dedicated high school science teacher with a passion for connecting students to the world around them through inquiry, storytelling, and real-world experiences. With a background in earth and space science and biology, I bring a dynamic, interdisciplinary approach to my teaching. Over the years, I’ve taken on various leadership roles within my school community, from class advising to program development, always centering student voice and engagement.

At school, I’m known not only for creating an engaging science curriculum but also for my commitment to innovation and inclusion. I lead exploratory programming, serve on both the advisory and attendance teams, and help organize meaningful travel experiences that broaden students’ perspectives—most recently bringing a group to Belize and preparing for an upcoming trip to Greece. Through all of this, I’ve grown as both a teacher and advocate, always striving to create spaces where both students and staff can thrive.

Right now, I’m in Morocco as a Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Research fellow, studying how to better support and empower girls in STEM education. I’m partnering with local institutions, visiting classrooms, and engaging in conversations with educators and students to learn more about the cultural and structural supports that help young women thrive in science. This work is both a professional study and a personal mission—an extension of my belief that education should be empowering, global, and rooted in equity.
